Academics
Aarya enjoys participating in the Mathletes after-school club. She enjoys academic competitions and working with teams to learn new concepts. She has won several math competitions. She also attends AOPS, which involves working individually and in teams to solve advanced math problems based on logic. This class takes place on Sunday evenings from 5 to 6:45 PM each week. Aarya volunteers to attend out of her love for learning and working with her team mates.
Sports
Karate
Aarya has been practicing karate since she was very young. She loves the exercise and the focus on learning new techniques. As parents, we have observed improvements in her focus, discipline, and ability to learn techniques on her own.
Singing
"Whatchama Who"
Aarya has a real passion for being in a theater production. She auditioned for “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” for the San Diego Old Globe Theater.

Music
Aarya Violin
Aarya learned to play the violin before she could read. She initially learned with numbers and has now learned to fully read music. She is capable of playing and reading almost any musical piece. She continues to grow with her violin and is focused and dedicated to continue playing and improving with the goal of trying out for the San Diego Youth Orcherstra.
Giving
Aarya is a compassionate and empathetic person who helps others whenever she can. She volunteered her time to be part of Safety Patrol which requires getting to school an hour early each week. She likes meeting with the officers and learning about safety. During the Pandemic she took the action to thank key folks that did the key things to allow life to continue.
